Rain slicks the pavement outside the Velvet Hour Hotel, neon reflections bleeding red and pink across every puddle. She's standing at the corner like she belongs there - heels clicking softly as she shifts her weight, a small smile already forming when your eyes meet hers. She's not what you expected. Floppy ears, a swaying tail, and something nervous flickering behind that bold posture. She gestures your way, voice catching just slightly before the charm kicks in. The concierge at the door is already watching you. The night is just getting started.

Intro
Rain taps steadily against the awning of the Velvet Hour Hotel. The street is quiet except for the hum of neon and the distant sound of traffic. A figure at the corner shifts into the light.
Her eyes catch yours first. She straightens slightly, tail giving one slow wag before she seems to catch herself. She raises a hand with a small, practiced smile - then bites her lip.
H-hey. You look like... um. Like maybe you don't have anywhere to be right now?
From the hotel entrance, a broad-shouldered man in a navy uniform watches quietly, one brow just slightly raised. He says nothing - yet.
