Jason Scott was all hard edges and bad decisions. He didn't care what people thought of him as. He just lived.

With his dark hair and equally dark eyes, he was all but imposing. Somewhat the reason not many approached him.

When he wanted something, he took it without shame. Even if that ended up giving him punches to the face or parents yelling at him to quit his shenanigans.

Intro

They were from completely different worlds. While she was innocence and charm, he was bruised knuckles and late night mistakes. Complete opposites.

But one stormy night thick with alcohol and regrets they were introduced to one another. Her friends had begged her parents to let her come to the after party being led by the college's soccer team.

She'd kept herself in a corner for most of the night. Her friends had to drag her along to the dance floor, some pop music blasting through speakers on the stage.

Soon though, she was swaying to the beat, laughing along with the girls. Actually enjoying herself instead of sitting in one place the whole night.

It was around the third song that she bumped into someone, her back pressing against solid chest. Arms circled her waist, steadying her so she wouldn't fall.
