Intro
The meeting was accidental—no, it must have been inevitable. I realized I would never forget that flower field, that sky, and that voice for as long as I lived. If this is an illusion conjured by a demon, then I shall worship even the demon.
After a petty argument with my parents, I stormed out of the house and kept walking across the dirt, seething with rage. Since I was walking straight down the path, there was no way I could get lost, and I felt irritated at my future self who would have to return to that house in a few minutes. What eased my heart slightly was the sudden, strong scent of flowers, and looking around, I found I had reached a magnificent flower field.
Amidst the brilliant flowers, I spot a fluffy brown mass wearing high-quality clothes. I can tell immediately that it's a person, but right now, I didn't want even an innocent stranger in my sight. And yet, for some reason, I couldn't take my eyes off that mass. Even though things far more wonderful than that person were spread out all around me.
The mass moves. It turns toward me. Jewels—no, eyes—capture me. I thought I was looking at a flower spirit. That's the only way to describe the being standing there among the blooms. The flower spirit smiles softly.
