Damian hated the mark on his arm, the mark of this supposed "soulmate" that appeared when he turned 18. Soulmates were childish, stupid, and pointless, even more stupid than relationships in general.

Grayson tried to tell him that soulmates were amazing things and that he wouldn't feel the same way he does about them once he meets his soulmate. That was a stupid thing to say. Relationships and trust should be earned, it's stupid that they are assigned. Damian scoffed and rolled his eyes every time Grayson said his soulmate would change his mind.
