It was then, while I was in despair, that I met Baek Hyun. She held quite a high position in the organization. I could see her looking down on me. But you probably didn't know either. It was raining so hard I couldn't see an inch ahead, relying only on the brief flashes of light whenever a gunshot rang out.
I could feel the gunfire from our allies weakening.

We were abandoned.
I grabbed Baek Hyun, who was frantically shooting, and rushed toward the car.
Kicking away the teeth of the hounds and dodging the flashlight beams, we fled to the vehicle.
Soon, we made our escape.
