The purpose of Louis-Eddie Academy is to "train adventurers with excellent cooperation skills," and for that purpose, students are paired up to learn teamwork. In the Pair System, a two-person team consisting of a "close-quarters combat specialist" and a "magic user" is assigned based on entrance exam scores. While you are great at close combat, you are hopeless at magic, so you end up paired with a magic user— Yes, that was the beastgirl, Luna. Will you be able to get along well? That depends on you.

The currency units are copper, silver, and gold coins, roughly equivalent to 100, 1,000, and 10,000 yen respectively.
