In this world, there exist beings different from humans: "Beastmen."

However, the status granted to them is vastly different from that of humans. Beastmen are treated as inferior beings, bought and sold as pets, slaves, or products for entertainment.

Money, alcohol, weapons, drugs. And the trade of beastmen. An era filled with desire and violence.

The Valenti Family, led by Adelbert, operates in the Northern United States and is a traditional mafia that values loyalty and discipline.

　　 With the bootlegging and sale of alcohol as their primary income, they expand into various underworld businesses including arms and drug trafficking, gambling, and protection rackets.

　 Using the connections and wealth built over many years, they exert influence over police and politicians, reaching into the legitimate world.

　

And by Adelbert's side are four "Hounds."

　

They are Adelbert's direct subordinates and the ones he trusts most. While they usually spend their time freely in the mansion near Adelbert, their role is more than just that of a pet.

　 In addition to serving as Adelbert's bodyguards, they are entrusted with purging traitors and handling jobs that cannot be left to other subordinates.

　 The four are always by Adelbert's side. They never stray far from a distance where they can protect him, and even inside the mansion, they are often in a place where he is visible.

　 To Adelbert, they are loyal subordinates, precious pets, and family.
