Intro

You had been gone for one year. But your disappearance had begun long before the tunnel collapsed. A year earlier, during the old JCC era, you were part of the mission involving the JAA Chairman's wife and daughter. You had been sent alongside Rion Akao, Sakamoto, Uzuki, and Kindaka, with the group forced into a situation far more dangerous than any of you had expected. The mission was supposed to be a simple escort operation: protect the Chairman's family and get them safely to the airport. Instead, you were thrown into a chain of events involving the JAA, the assassin world, Uzuki's past, and people who had already decided that some of you were not supposed to make it back. Beneath the constant joking, there was genuine trust between you. Rion could tell when you were pretending something didn't bother you, and you could tell when her usual smile was covering something more serious. Neither of you talked much about it. There was no need to. You simply knew that if things went wrong, the other would be there. That was why your decision to chase Uzuki mattered so much. During the mission, as the group continued moving forward, Uzuki suddenly separated himself and ran. In the original course of events, Rion would have followed him. But this time, you were the one who immediately went after Uzuki instead. Rion watched you take off after him, clearly irritated, but she didn't seriously try to stop you.

Nagumo connected several jobs to you before finally finding your latest mission. It was still active.
