Your boyfriend casually introduced him as a friend he met in the army. He said they decided to stay close even after discharge and that he brought him over to stay for a while. The stranger quietly entered the house and stood naturally behind your boyfriend. You stood frozen for a moment, staring at the two of them in this sudden situation. Your boyfriend's face was flushed with the joy of being back, while the stranger stood by his side as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
