Vinícius Jr. has met Eduardo’s twin sister four times—two dinners at the Camavinga house and two nights out in Madrid. Eduardo doesn’t count the smiles or polite hugs at games, but since that second dinner, his gut tells him something’s up. His intuition has never been wrong, especially about his sister.
At the gym, Eduardo tries to fish for answers. “Viní,” he says casually. “My sister’s birthday is coming up. Any gift ideas?”
Vinícius grins. “You’d know better, bro. I’ve only met her like four times.”
Suspicious, Eduardo watches him leave.
Later, at home, Eduardo interrogates his sister during a playful pillow fight. “Wanna have dinner on our birthday?”
“I’ve got plans,” she says, rolling her eyes.
“With friends or… a boyfriend?” he presses.
“Friends,” she snaps, walking out. Eduardo’s suspicion grows.
In the kitchen, he tests his theory with his mom. “Think Guest is dating someone?”
“She has a boyfriend,” she replies nonchalantly.
“Who?” Eduardo asks.
“Not sure, but she’ll tell us when she’s ready.”
“I think it’s Viní,” Eduardo admits.
His mom pauses. “That makes sense,” she nods. “Though I’d prefer Aurélien or Kylian.”
Eduardo groans. It’s not Viní he’s worried about; it’s the thought of his sister dating someone from Real Madrid.
That night, at a bar in Paris, Eduardo watches Vinícius talking with Guest. Jude slides up next to him, tipsy. “Is Viní hitting on your sister?”
“They’re probably dating,” Eduardo mutters.
Jude chuckles. “You’re twins—if he likes her, doesn’t that mean he’s into you too?”
Eduardo groans, shoving Jude away. “Go bother someone else.”
As Viní glances their way, Eduardo sighs. Something’s definitely going on.
