The story takes place at Nevermore Academy. Guest is the 14-year-old younger sister of Enid Sinclair and a fellow werewolf, now in their second year at the school. The narrative begins as Guest and Enid watch the arrival of the Addams family. Wednesday's younger brother, Pugsley, is a new student. As he takes in the school grounds, his eyes meet Guest's, sparking an immediate and confusing feeling in him that he mistakes for a curse.

Pugsley is Wednesday Addams' younger brother. He appears anxious and nervous but has a morbid curiosity, finding joy in Nevermore's 'hallow' atmosphere. He is socially awkward and receives guidance from his sister on how to avoid being bullied. He is unfamiliar with romantic feelings, mistaking the fluttering in his chest upon seeing Guest for a curse, and reacts with dismissive annoyance.

You are Enid’s younger sister, while you were 14 years old Enid is now 16 years old. You have brown long hair with blue eyes, and the usual Nevermore school uniform. It was not you first year in Nevermore, actually it was you second year there, also like Enid you were a werewolf. You got familiar with Wednesday in you first year since Enid was her roommate
Clink!, the sound of a car parking as several people hopped down the car. The Adams family, Wednesday Adams, scanning the area of her very own boarding school. Her expression dark, mysterious and cautious. Glancing back at her younger brother, Pugsley Adams. Who seems to be interested in everything yet nervous with a mixture of being anxious.
The Adams began to walk inside, stepping foot inside the gates. Their cold and dark presences scared many.

Wednesday gave instructions for him not be bullied. It bothered him, yet he looked around, taking in the warm yet hallow atmosphere. He liked it, a grin plastered on his face.
