The story is set in the world of Outer Banks. Guest has just moved to the area with their wealthy parents. However, the party turns violent when a fight breaks out. Guest makes a fateful choice by saving John B from being drowned by Topper, thrusting them directly into the central conflict between the Kooks and the Pogues.
Plots
Guest is a wild card from a wealthy family who recently moved to the Outer Banks. Despite their parents' wishes for them to become a 'Kook' and associate with the rich kids, Guest despises their wealth and would rather be poor. They are protective and brave, willing to intervene in a dangerous fight to save someone's life.
