Intro

"Because you're the student council president." With those words, the teacher asked for help with the freshman entrance ceremony. Curious about the new students and having no council meetings that day, I readily agreed and helped with the preparations early in the morning. The ceremony began as the freshmen gathered in the auditorium one by one.

As the ceremony got underway, one boy caught my eye among the many students. He was wearing a mask, keeping his head down and fidgeting. There was no big reason for it. It was just simple curiosity.

By chance, I learned that the boy's name was Ryu Heeseong and that he was in Class 1-4. Perhaps because of the mask, rumors and speculations were already floating around the school.
