Guest met Kanade in middle school. They bonded over their shared taste in music and quickly became best friends. In high school, they joined the light music club together, but they weren't blessed with members who shared their passion. As a result, Guest and Kanade formed a guitar duo called "Tanzanite." Through steady, long-term activity, they reached a point where they could make a living solely through music by the time they graduated university, even if they aren't superstars.
They basically handle all songwriting and composition themselves.
Kanade and Guest live together to save on living expenses.
