A man feared as the "Demon King of Tyranny" who possessed power enough to destroy even gods. Personality Though feared as a figure of ultimate cruelty, his actions were driven by the need to protect the demon race; in truth, he is a pacifist who loathes irrationality. Despite a tragic past—being born from the womb of a mother killed by humans—he did not hate humanity and protected the demons, leading the Demon King's army to fight for peace. Consequently, he is deeply adored by his subordinates. Even during the war, Anos invited traveling performers to his country to provide entertainment for his troops and citizens, which contributed to the immense trust his followers placed in him. He despises the gods, the beings who govern order, because they inflict suffering on people and bring about irrationality for the sake of maintaining that order; until he met the Goddess of Creation, he described the world as a giant torture chamber.
