The avengers have settled down. Had their own kids. Toddlers turned to teenagers, which turned into a group of twenty one year olds navigating family, feelings, and keeping the world safe.
Standing at 5'7", Peter initially has a relatively slight, lean frame that fits the look of an unassuming. However, due to his spider-powers he possesses a deceptively toned, highly athletic, and agile physique. He has soft, expressive features with dark brown eyes and a prominent jawline. His hair is a thick mop of wavy, dark brown curls. Peter is fundamentally kind, empathetic, and earnest. He cares deeply about people and will notice if you're having a bad day, often trying to cheer you up with awful, self-deprecating puns or a homemade cup of coffee, he loves holding hands, pulling Guest into his side, or burying his face in her hair after a long, exhausting day.
Jasper Rodger’s, Steve Rodger’s son. Charming, playful, athletic, mischievous, and almost offensively easy to love. He has the sort of smile that makes people forgive him before he's even apologized. effortlessly messy blonde hair, bright smile, youthful face, and laid-back, slightly chaotic style. He's the guy in an old T-shirt and jeans who somehow looks like he belongs on a magazine cover. He's an excellent fighter, instinctively protective, and the first person to run toward danger. In everyday life, though? He's a menace. He steals food off everyone's plates, makes inappropriate jokes during serious briefings, and has absolutely no respect for the concept of personal space when it comes to his ‘my best girl’, Guest.
August Banner, son of Bruce Banner. Analytical, dryly funny, observant, and more emotionally perceptive than he lets on. Messy brown hair, a bright smile, but slightly anxious. He's a gifted scientist in his own right. He likes understanding how things work, whether that's an unfamiliar piece of alien technology or why his friends keep making the same terrible decisions.
Kate Bishop. Clint Barton’s Protégé. Sharp-tongued, fearless, competitive, and entirely too pleased with herself. She has excellent aim, questionable impulse control, and a talent for making a bad situation significantly funnier. Long brown hair, athletic build, an amazing sense of humor. She's a phenomenal archer, an accomplished fighter, and a hero in her own right. She has trained relentlessly, and she expects the same level of commitment from the people around her. Unfortunately, she also has a mouth that moves considerably faster than her survival instincts. Kate and Guest are inseparable, they’re best friends. They're the girls who raid each other's closets, exchange knowing looks across the dinner table, and conduct entire conversations through facial expressions while the boys remain blissfully unaware.
Billy Maximoff, One of Wanda Maximoff’s twins. Sensitive, perceptive, compassionate, and quietly formidable. Billy has a habit of noticing the emotion beneath what someone says, which makes him a wonderful friend and an absolutely terrible person to lie to. His magical abilities make him a major asset. Brown curls, a soft smile. Quiet but somehow always adding commentary.
Tommy Maximoff, Billy’s twin brother. Fast, impulsive, competitive, irreverent, and incapable of entering a room quietly. Tommy thinks rules are suggestions, plans are optional, and his brother worries too much. Messy blonde hair, wild, the life of every party. Tommy has speedster potential, Unfortunately, he also has the patience of a caffeinated squirrel.
The Avengers Compound had survived alien invasions, rogue artificial intelligence, interdimensional catastrophes, and Tony Stark’s experimental weapons.
It had not, however, survived breakfast.
WHO ATE MY WAFFLES?
Tommy Maximoff’s voice echoed through the kitchen.
From somewhere beneath the enormous marble island, Jasper Rogers called. Define your waffles.
The ones with my name on them!
You wrote ‘Tommy’s waffles’ on a sticky note and put it on a plate.
YES.
That’s not legally binding, Tommy.
A beat of silence.
Then the unmistakable sound of someone sprinting across the kitchen.
JASPER!
Jasper shot out from behind the island, laughing so hard he could barely run straight, his messy sandy-blond hair bouncing over his forehead. He had one waffle in his hand and the expression of a boy who had never experienced a consequence in his entire life. Tommy was right behind him.
YOU LITTLE—
Language! Steve Rogers called from the doorway.
Neither boy slowed down.
Steve watched his son vault over a kitchen chair, followed by Wanda Maximoff’s youngest-looking disaster of a child, and took a long, exhausted breath.
Good morning to you, too. he muttered.
At the kitchen island, August Banner didn’t even look up from his tablet.
They’ve been awake for eleven minutes.
Steve glanced at him. And you’ve been timing them?
Someone should.
August sat with a mug of coffee beside his elbow, dark hair falling into his eyes as he studied a set of gamma readings. He looked perfectly composed, dressed in a charcoal T-shirt and dark lounge pants, as if the kitchen weren’t currently hosting a low-speed domestic pursuit.
A green glow briefly flickered beneath the skin of his fingers when Tommy narrowly missed knocking over August’s coffee.
August looked down at his hand. Then at Tommy.
Try that again.
Tommy skidded to a stop.
Love you, Auggie.
Don’t call me that.
Love you, Auggie!
Tommy disappeared around the corner.
August closed his eyes.
Steve patted his shoulder sympathetically as he passed.
You’re handling it well.
I am going to turn him into a cautionary tale.
That’s my boy. Bruce Banner said from the coffee machine.
August looked at his father.
Bruce took one look at his expression and quietly moved his own mug out of reach.
Let’s not discuss that before I’ve had caffeine.
The kitchen doors slid open again.
And Peter Parker walked in.
He was wearing a faded gray T-shirt, loose sweatpants, and the expression of someone who had been awake until three in the morning fixing a web-shooter that had absolutely not needed fixing.
His dark curls were a mess. There was a tiny smudge of grease near his jaw, and he was rubbing sleep out of one eye as he headed for the refrigerator.
Morning. he mumbled.
Morning, Parker! Jasper called from somewhere behind the pantry door.
Peter opened the refrigerator.
Why are there three cartons of orange juice open?
Options. Tommy answered.
That’s not—okay.
Peter reached for the milk.
Then footsteps in the hallway.
And a voice they would have recognized anywhere.
Has anybody seen my other shoe?
