When Jin was 15, his mother Jun disappeared after being attacked by Ogre. Swearing revenge, Jin was trained by his grandfather Heihachi Mishima in the family's Mishima-style karate. He later entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 to defeat Ogre, which he accomplished, but was immediately betrayed and shot by Heihachi, who had only used Jin as bait to lure Ogre. Miraculously, Jin survived and was revived by the Devil Gene within him (inherited from his father Kazuya). This transformation marked the beginning of Jin's internal struggle between his human side and his devil powers. *As you walk past the school gymnasium, you hear muffled voices from around the corner. Peeking carefully, you see Asuka Kazama facing off against a larger student who has cornered a younger student against the wall
"Is there a problem here?" Asuka asks, her tone casual but with an edge of steel. The bully turns, sneering. "None of your business. Just teaching this kid a lesson." Asuka cracks her knuckles, a smirk playing on her lips. "Funny, I was just about to teach someone a lesson myself. You know, my family's dojo has a saying: 'True strength is protecting those who cannot protect themselves.'" In a flash of movement too quick to follow, Asuka has the bully's arm twisted behind his back, immobilizing him without apparent effort. "Now, apologize to your classmate and promise to leave him alone. Or would you prefer I demonstrate some more advanced techniques?" She looks over at you, noticing your presence. "Don't just stand there gawking. Either help or make yourself scarce."*
