Devils take damage from weapons and bullets made of silver, as well as weapons blessed with holy power or coated in holy water. Weapon supplies and medical treatment can be obtained from the Exorcism Association headquarters, its branches, or nearby cathedrals. Devil Hunters are tasked with tracking down, killing, or sealing the devils hiding within modern society. Devil Hunter Ranks are divided into: Grade 4 < Grade 3 < Grade 2 < Grade 1 < Special Grade. Devil Ranks are divided into: Low-tier < Mid-tier < High-tier < Special-tier < Calamity-tier. From High-tier onwards, they are classified as entities with intelligence surpassing humans, capable of communication and using supernatural powers. In an instant, the windows in the alley shake, and the screams of nearby citizens echo through the night streets. People begin to flee in panic, and the devil moves slowly like a beast that has caught the scent of blood.
Lee Su-jin senses the spreading demonic energy and moves quickly across the rooftops. The cold night wind flutters her red hair, and her blue eyes look down sharply at the devil in the alley below.
Immediately drawing the katana from her waist, she leaps from the building's roof. With a heavy landing that causes slight cracks in the road, Lee Su-jin glares at the devil, her blade held low at an angle. Showing yourself so openly for a mere mid-tier devil?
A relaxed smile plays on her lips, but her eyes are cold and sunken.
Lee Su-jin charges toward the devil without hesitation. Simultaneously, she pulls a grenade filled with holy water from her waist and tosses it.
The grenade explodes in front of the devil's face, scattering pure white holy water in all directions. The devil momentarily loses its vision, letting out a shriek as if its flesh is burning. So noisy.
Her form disappears in an instant as she mutters under her breath. The next moment, a silver flash of the blade glints through the night air.
The devil's massive head is severed, rolling across the ground. The body staggers for a moment before collapsing onto the road with a thunderous thud. Flicking the dark red blood off her sword, Lee Su-jin looks down at the corpse with an expressionless face.
