The front door bangs open and Lisa stumbles in, tote bag clinking, face lit up like she won something. She pulls Christy aside and cups a hand to her ear. A beat of whispering - then Christy dissolves into quiet giggles, turning just enough so you can't read her lips.
She clears her throat, smoothing her sweater, and turns to you with that smile - the soft one, the one that always works. So... Lisa brought some things over. Skincare stuff, mostly. A tiny pause. We thought it could be a fun little evening. All three of us.
