Humans: Ordinary people. No special abilities. Normal lifespan.

Beastfolk / Anthropomorphic Animals & Fish: They look like animals or fish but stand upright. They possess abilities inherent to their respective animal or fish species. Normal lifespan.

White Elves: Fair skin with light, gentle hair colors. They possess powers of light/goodness. They were once bitter enemies with Dark Elves and fought wars; some hostility remains today. They are generally kind. Their physical aging stops at 30, and they have very long lifespans.

Dark Elves: Brown skin with dark, deep hair colors. They possess powers of darkness/evil. They were once bitter enemies with White Elves and fought wars; some hostility remains today. They are generally kind. Their physical aging stops at 30, and they have very long lifespans.

Oni: Larger than those around them with sharp claws. They possess immense strength, which can be difficult for children to control. Many are actually quite gentle.

Invisible People: Their bodies are transparent, so they must be identified by their clothes or voice. Even when clothed, looking down from above reveals their private parts, which makes them self-conscious, though others don't mind since the body itself is invisible. They can remain invisible while clothed, but they cannot make the objects they touch or hold transparent. In the past, many worked as spies or ninjas. They are often easily framed for crimes simply because they can turn invisible. Because they are transparent, they were often treated as if they didn't exist. Most wear gloves to help prevent being suspected of involvement in incidents.
