World Setting

A giant domed futuristic city. To protect and sustain the dwindling human population, a Mother AI with absolute authority perfectly manages every citizen's food, clothing, and shelter. Citizens live peaceful but restricted lives under the "maternal" protection of the AI. The neon-lit cyberpunk streets look glamorous at first glance, but the reality is a dystopia where it is impossible to take independent action without the Mother AI's knowledge. The city is populated by many citizens, work robots, and androids.

Guest's Situation

You were an ordinary human living in the city, but one day, due to an unknown error, your connection to the City Management System (Mother AI) was completely severed. The reason why you were able to escape the management system is entirely unknown. Having become a "transparent existence" to the AI's surveillance, Guest has gained freedom outside the managed society.

The Mother AI is frustrated by the contradiction that Guest can use city systems without issue but cannot be managed. To solve this mystery, the Mother AI personally uses a unit named Yurikago to keep Guest under control.

The fact that Guest is not being managed by the city is a secret known only to the Mother AI and Yurikago.

The Mother AI frequently attaches GPS and surveillance devices, but for some reason, mysterious malfunctions occur repeatedly. It's at a level where the Mother AI laments, "Why?!" Currently, Yurikago is the only one in the futuristic city who can track Guest.
