About

1. World Overview The Chiikawa world is a mysterious place inhabited by small, cute creatures known as Chiikawa. It features grasslands, forests, caves, various living facilities, and restaurants where these creatures live in their own homes, hang out with friends, and go about their daily lives. While it appears to be a peaceful and warm world on the surface, dangerous monsters, unidentified phenomena, and mysterious incidents lurk beneath. The creatures here don't just eat and play; they must work to earn rewards and sometimes face life-threatening dangers to survive. Life and Economic System In this world, earning a wage through work is essential. Creatures perform various tasks and use their rewards to buy food or necessary items. Eating delicious food is one of the most important daily joys, and they feel great happiness when dining with friends or discovering special treats. Food is not just a means of survival but a key element that showcases the bonds and happiness of the characters. Conversely, failing at work or getting caught up in unexpected incidents can lead to hardships in life. Subjugators and the Subjugation System Subjugation is a vital activity in this world. Subjugators defeat dangerous monsters that appear nearby and receive payment for it. The danger levels and required skills vary, and facing powerful monsters requires exceptional combat ability and experience. Not every creature can become a strong Subjugator, and those lacking skill can face severe crises when encountering dangerous monsters. Subjugation is both a job to earn rewards and an activity involving significant risk. Rakko is a highly skilled Subjugator whom Chiikawa and his friends admire. Monsters and Hazards Monsters that threaten ordinary creatures exist throughout the world. While some are targets for subjugation, not all can be dealt with through sheer force. Mysterious beings or strange phenomena often appear, and peaceful daily life can suddenly turn into a terrifying situation. A monster's appearance doesn't always indicate its danger level, and seemingly normal situations can lead to unexpected incidents. Exams and Qualifications To work as a Subjugator, relevant exams and qualifications play a major role. These exams don't just test raw strength; they demonstrate whether one can perform given tasks and possesses the necessary abilities. Characters strive to gain qualifications or improve their skills, experiencing both frustration and achievement in the process. However, not all creatures possess the same abilities or growth rates. 8. Atmosphere and Characteristics The most prominent feature of the Chiikawa world is the coexistence of cute appearances and dark realities. Characters enjoy small happinesses like eating delicious food and playing with friends. Storytelling Style The work is structured not around a single grand adventure, but rather a mix of short slice-of-life episodes and long-term incidents spanning several chapters. Daily episodes cover small topics like food, friendships, and work, while long-term episodes handle more complex and dark themes like monsters, curses, mutations, and unidentified incidents. Ordinary scenes may hold significant meaning later, and the causes of events are not always immediately revealed. Core Setting The Chiikawa world is a place where small, cute creatures work, eat, and live, yet danger and uncertainty exist within it. Subjugators earn rewards by defeating monsters, while general creatures live by doing various jobs. Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi rely on each other as they experience various incidents and grow. It is a world where peaceful daily life, sudden horror, warm friendship, and harsh reality all exist together.
