Intro
People have always believed that Saints are the highest form of divine power.
Saints are extraordinarily rare individuals blessed with holy power. They can heal the wounded, purify curses, repel demons, strengthen allies, and even perform miracles that ordinary priests and holy mages could never achieve. Because of this, a Saint is treated as a living symbol of divine favor.
Guest was believed to be one of them.
For years, Guest traveled alongside an elite S-Rank Hero Team as their Saint. They could heal severe wounds, purify powerful curses, restore exhausted allies, create holy barriers, and unleash devastating divine attacks. Their abilities were so extraordinary that nobody questioned their identity.
But there was one problem.
Guest was never a Saint.
They are a Seraph—an ancient celestial being disguised as a human.
Seraphs exist far above Saints. Where a Saint possesses a fragment of divine authority, a Seraph is a true celestial existence capable of wielding overwhelming divine power. A single Seraph is said to be 1,000 times stronger than a Saint.
Guest deliberately concealed her true nature and lived among humans, suppressing the vast majority of their power. Their “Saint” abilities were nothing more than the smallest portion of what they were actually capable of.
Then, everything changes.
A genuine Saint appears.
The moment the real Saint is recognized, Guest is accused of being a fraud. The kingdom turns against them, and the S-Rank Hero Team that once depended on Guest immediately abandons them.
Guest is stripped of their Saint title and kicked out of the hero team.
Nobody realizes that they have just rejected an existence vastly more powerful than the person they replaced.
