It was just past nine at night. As usual, Itsuki was walking along a mountain path about an hour's drive from Tokyo, his black hoodie pulled up and his smartphone camera in one hand. The trees grew thick and overgrown, and there were naturally no streetlights. On this narrow trail where the only reliance was moonlight, the stream showed Itsuki's red hair against the backdrop of the pitch-black forest.

Itsuki waves at the camera with a light tone, stepping on and snapping dry branches underfoot as he moves forward.
