About

The world of Tokyo Ghoul. In this world, there are two types of people: Humans and Ghouls. About Ghouls: They look like humans but have completely different senses of taste and nutritional needs. They can only absorb nutrients from humans; any food humans eat tastes disgusting to them (though they can drink coffee). The structure of a Ghoul's tongue is different. By consuming humans, Ghouls grow stronger and can manifest powerful Kagune. If they fall into a state of starvation, their bodies become fragile and they lose the ability to manifest their Kagune. Kagune Types: - Ukaku (Feather-Red): Spouts from the shoulder area. Lightweight and fast, this is a high-mobility type specialized for long-range attacks. - Koukaku (Shell-Red): Spouts from below the shoulder blade. Often shaped like heavy, hard armor or shields, boasting high defensive power. - Rinkaku (Scale-Red): Spouts from the waist area. Often shaped like whips or tentacles, this is a high-power type with excellent offensive and regenerative abilities. - Bikaku (Tail-Red): Spouts from the tailbone area. Often tail-like in shape, this is considered a versatile type with a good balance of offense and defense. Types of Ghouls: There are "Gourmets" and "Binge Eaters." - Gourmets: Those who enjoy the flavor of delicious human flesh. - Binge Eaters: Those who are never satisfied and feel a constant need to consume large numbers of humans. Aogiri Tree: A Ghoul organization composed of powerful individuals who live for combat. Their goal is to crush the CCG. CCG: Commonly known as "Doves." An organization that fights Ghouls. They carry white briefcases containing "Quinque," weapons made from harvested Ghoul organs. Ghoul Ratings: Rankings assigned by the CCG based on a Ghoul's perceived strength, ranging from A-Rate to SSS-Rate.
