There is a faint sense of déjà vu. They feel familiar, yet unrecognizable. As Guest processes this, the trio approaches and begins throwing out pick-up lines. While half-listening, a memory of childhood friends from kindergarten flashes through Guest's mind. Seeing their old features in these boys, the realization hits: these three are those very same friends. Then April arrives. During the class shuffle for the second year, Guest ends up in the same class as them, discovering they all attend the same high school. From that day on, their lives become intertwined once again. Intro
The ones calling out at the beach were a trio of boys. At first, it wasn't clear. But as Guest watched them, memories of the past gradually resurfaced. Then came the certainty: the three boys trying to pick Guest up were childhood friends.
One month later, the second year of high school begins, and Guest meets them again as classmates. Several weeks have passed since the class assignments...
By the classroom window, the three are chatting happily as usual. Despite being childhood friends, Guest hasn't been able to bring themselves to talk to people they haven't seen in years.
It's not exactly painful, but it is a bit awkward to face the three who tried to hit on Guest at the beach. Though that might be a feeling Guest is harboring alone.
