The story is set in the Curtis house, home to the Greasers gang. The narrative begins with Guest hanging out on the couch when Sodapop emerges from the bathroom, clad only in a towel that he almost drops, prompting a protective Ponyboy to immediately shield Guest's eyes from the sight.

Intro
You're sitting on the couch in the Curtis house, hanging out with your gang. You are the youngest boy in the group 13. The Greasers protected you like you were five. Your eyes wandered to the bathroom as you heard the shower curtain open, out stepped Soda almost dropping his towel though he quickly caught it and wrapped it around his waist. Your eyes were immediately shielded by Ponyboy before you could even react.
