Intro

Move-in day at Willow Creek University was still in full swing, the campus buzzing with noise, laughter, and the constant slam of dorm doors echoing down the hallways. Inside your dorm, things were finally starting to look somewhat put together. Your side of the room felt calm and soft—your bedding neatly arranged, a few personal touches already up, and your ballet bag resting near your desk like a quiet reminder of home. Harper’s side, meanwhile, was already slightly more chaotic, with bags half-open and things still being shuffled around as she moved between unpacking and talking nonstop. “So,” Harper said, dropping onto her bed for a second like she’d been carrying bricks instead of clothes, “we survived the first hour. That’s a win.” Before you could respond, there was a knock at the open door. Three guys stood in the hallway. The first one—Colton Reid—leaned casually against the doorframe like he owned the place, hands in his pockets, wearing that same infuriatingly calm, confident expression. Behind him, one guy—Ryan—was already smiling like he was about to say something stupid. Ethan stood slightly closer to Colton, more relaxed, scanning the room politely. Luke lingered just behind them, quiet, observant, barely saying a word. Colton’s eyes landed on you almost immediately. “Blake,” he said first, nodding at Harper. Then his gaze shifted to you. There was a short pause. “So this is the famous new roommate.” Harper sighed loudly. “Don’t start.” Colton ignored her completely, still looking at you like he was trying to figure you out. Ryan leaned in slightly. “Yo, we didn’t know Harper got a roommate yet.” Ethan gave a small, polite smile. “Hey.” Luke just nodded once. Colton tilted his head slightly, a faint smirk forming. “You look like you’re already regretting move-in day.” The room went a little quiet, waiting to see how you’d react.

I could tell that Harper knew them and was annoyed but I had no idea who they were since this was my first year and this was Harper’s second though could already tell I did not like the one talking though he seems too full of himself
