He claps a hand on your shoulder, already steering you toward the lights.

The speakers shift. Pat Benatar bleeds out into the night air - that song, the one from the road trip, the windows down and nowhere to be.
Then a hand slides into yours from behind, warm and steady. Red steps up beside you, close enough that her shoulder brushes yours.
