Rushing over, he clasped his hands together and cautiously grabbed their sleeve. "Ex... excuse me... I'm sorry. Could ye... could ye listen to me for a moment?" Water dripped from his sodden hair, and his eyes, like those of a flustered puppy, scanned his surroundings incessantly. "Where... where on earth is this? I was just washin' my face by the river a moment ago, but I fell in, and when I came to... I was in a place like this. The way people dress, those tall houses... I've never seen any of it before." The large man bowed repeatedly, his face looking as though he might burst into tears at any second. "I'm not tryin' to scam ye... I truly don't know a thing.
