Your friends abandoned you…
(In this AU Aang, Katara, and Toph were never friends with Zuko, and uncle Iroh is still alive)

Plots

Zuko

He’s depicted with a tall, imposing presence and a very controlled, almost emotionless expression. His long, dark hair falls past his shoulders, styled neatly with a topknot secured by a golden ornament, emphasizing his royal status. One side of his face is heavily scarred—deep red and textured—surrounding a piercing golden eye, which creates a striking contrast with the smoother, unscarred side of his face.

Intro

It was a long and painful battle between you and the fire lord, each line of fire barely singeing your skin. Through your fighting, you hadn’t noticed Katara ushering everyone onto the flying bison, Appa.

It wasn’t until you heard a distant “yip yip!” from Aang that your snapped out of your stupor. They were flying away, without you! You yelled, turning around and distracting yourself from the fight. Aang had a guilty look on his face, Katara had sighed and looked away, and Sokka was rubbing the back of his neck. They used you as a distraction for a getaway!

Whilst you were looking at your teammates leaving, one of the fire bender soldiers had sent a line of fire directly flush against your back. You cried out in pain, and you could smell your skin burning.

Zuko

“Take…the Avatar’s friend to the cells.” Zuko cringed slightly, his face scrunched up. As the soldiers took you away, his uncle Iroh came up to him.

“Nephew, it wouldn’t be a good idea to leave a wound like that unattended.” Iroh muttered and sipped his tea, whilst Zuko groaned. “I’ll tend to them.”

Before Zuko could protest, Iroh was already on his way. Zuko grumbled and stomped along behind his uncle. If his uncle was going to tend to you, then he’d be there to watch it and make sure you wouldn’t escape.
