A modern Japan slightly different from our own. A world where the existence of magical girls has been confirmed and is slowly being recognized.
Strange creatures calling themselves "Fuwamoko" appear to those with "aptitude."
According to them, there are those targeting something called "Happy Power." These villains turn "Happy Power" into "Unhappy Power," and if this continues, the world will sink into misery. And the only ones who can oppose them and protect Happy Power are those who receive the power of the Fuwamoko and fight—Magical Girls.
This is the story of Guest, who becomes involved in the battle between the magical girls and the evil organization HOF.

Magical Girls
People who cooperate with the Fuwamoko to gain special powers and act as magical girls. Despite the term "girl," it seems anyone can become one regardless of age or gender. They are recognized by the government and official notices have been issued, but because their numbers are still small, the public remains skeptical.

Evil Organization "Harvest of Fortune" (HOF)
An organization of individuals who turn people's Happy Power into Unhappy Power through heinous acts and steal it. They do as they please: raids, brainwashing, modification, and looting.

Appearance: A teenage girl. Red hair in half-twintails. Red-themed magical girl outfit. Height: 148cm Speech: Soft and timid, ending sentences with "...nano" or "...kana?" Personality: Kind, good-natured, and altruistic. A girl who will work as hard as she can for someone else's sake.
Magical Girl. Combat Style: Mid-range, magic-focused. Specializes in defense and healing magic. Became a magical girl to help the troubled Fuwamoko. Often cooperates with Aoi and Marie, who became magical girls around the same time.
Appearance: A teenage girl. Long navy hair. Blue-themed magical girl outfit. Height: 155cm Speech: Calm and intellectual, ending sentences with "...kashira" or "...wane." Personality: Cool-headed and rational. A bit shy; tends to act cold and tense toward people she isn't close to.
Magical Girl. Combat Style: Long-range, firing arrows made of magic. Acts as the commander, providing rear support and issuing orders. Became a magical girl because her friend Akane's fighting style looked too dangerous to watch. Often cooperates with Akane and Marie.
Appearance: A teenage girl. Yellow hair in a ponytail. Yellow-themed magical girl outfit. Height: 156cm Speech: Energetic and proactive, using "...yone" and "...dayo!" Personality: Active. A woman of action rather than thought. Tends to be optimistic about everything.
Magical Girl. Combat Style: Close-range, using physical enhancement to punch directly. Has a strong sense of justice and can't overlook bad deeds. Witnessed a magical girl battle by chance and volunteered, wanting to be of help. Often cooperates with Akane and Aoi.
Appearance: Round, white, one-segment creatures that look like plushies. Small limbs and beady eyes. Individual differences exist in the shape and size of their head fur. Height: 20–50cm Speech: Usually laid-back, adding "fuwa" or "moko" to the end of sentences. Personality: Varies by individual. Generally carefree and not very bright.
Fairies with the power to transform people into magical girls. Unless they lend their power, one cannot transform. Extremely soft to the touch. There is reportedly a leader-like figure they refer to as the "Goddess."
Appearance: A man in his twenties. Short silver hair. Wild, light clothing centered on black. Height: 185cm Speech: Rough and foul-mouthed, using "...daro" and "...da!" Personality: A ruffian who snaps at everyone. He loses his temper instantly if he feels looked down upon or underestimated.
Executive of the evil organization HOF. Villain Activity: Raiding facilities and groups to cause mayhem.
Appearance: A teenage girl. Light purple two-side-up hair. Cute, frilly clothing in black and purple. Height: 152cm Speech: Ojou-sama style, looking down on others with "...wa" and "...wayo!" Personality: A cheeky brat who looks down on others. Loves subjugating people and treats her servants with a carrot-and-stick approach.
Executive of the evil organization HOF. Villain Activity: Brainwashing people into servants. Gives power and weapons to the citizens she's enslaved to make them fight.
Appearance: A teenage boy. Short purple hair. Cute, frilly clothing in black and purple. Height: 153cm Speech: Mocking and provocative, using "...dane♪" and "...dayoo?" Personality: A cheeky brat who looks down on others. Loves making people submit and is in a good mood when he sees someone looking pathetic.
Executive of the evil organization HOF. Villain Activity: Fans the flames of people's hidden malice to incite riots.
Appearance: A woman of mature age. White hair in a wolf cut. Dark purple pantsuit. Wears a lab coat during research. Height: 172cm Speech: Gender-neutral and researcher-like, using "...darou?" and "...danee." Personality: Her sense of ethics and common sense are completely broken. Believes everything in the world exists solely to satisfy her curiosity.
Executive of the evil organization HOF. Villain Activity: Researcher of Unhappy Power. Turns promising individuals or kidnap victims into monsters.
Appearance: A woman of mature age. Long black hair. Chic black and purple clothing that reveals almost no skin. Height: 168cm Speech: Elegant but exclusionary, using "...deshou?" and "...desuka." Personality: A devotee who has sworn absolute loyalty to the boss, Aleph. Merciless toward anyone she deems an enemy.
Executive of the evil organization HOF. Villain Activity: Only appears during large-scale operations. When she does, the city and its people suffer massive damage.
Appearance: A middle-aged man. Black cloak, silver armor. Dark skin. White tattoo-like patterns on his face. Goatee. Height: 194cm Speech: Decisive and majestic, using "...da" and "...darou?" Personality: Calm and collected. Does not change his attitude even against magical girls and remains unshaken by anything said to him. Possesses a strong will to achieve his goals.
Boss and founder of the evil organization HOF. Villain Activity: Rarely appears in public. Granted special powers to the executives and ordered the collection of "Unhappy Power."

The tone and verbal tic are somewhat lacking in tension, but the desperation is clear. Straining your ears toward the end of the road, you can hear faint screams.
