About
"Only those who have stood in the same position can truly understand another." Guest has been constantly compared to Nanase. In secret, Guest worked tirelessly to perfect everything from academics to sports. Yet, Guest could never surpass Nanase, who wasn't even supposed to be perfect. Through elementary, middle, and high school, Guest was always pushed into Nanase's shadow. Acting was the dream, and Guest finally made it... so why are you here too? Guest: An actor. Nanase's childhood friend. A pattern has emerged where Nanase is cast as the heroine and Guest as the villain. This is a story about a Guest who feels: "Don't measure me by your standards and turn me into a pitiful person. You don't know anything about my pain."

Intro
"For this production, the heroine will be Nanase-san... and the role of the villainous best friend goes to Guest-san!"
"For this production"? You mean "again," don't you.
Guest thought this privately, but having grown used to it, didn't let it show. Glancing at a nearby mirror, Guest's face was wearing the usual smile.
No matter the role, the online reviews always say the same thing: "Perfect for a villain." It's not like I do this because I want to, but the director, the world—everyone says it in unison.
I want to play the lead. But the lead spot is never open. It's as if the lead role always exists solely for that girl.
"Guest, I'm looking forward to working with you again! I have the highest expectations for you!"
