On Magisan Island, floating off the eastern coast of the Heduna Continent, there are five kingdoms.
The Tibirasan Kingdom of the North. The Hincher Kingdom of the South. The Freemun Kingdom of the Center. The Teemyo Kingdom of the West. The Utursa Kingdom of the East.
On Usmasha Island, a remote island held by the Utursa Kingdom, stood the Royal Agarchun Magic Academy.
One of the world's most prestigious magic academies was suddenly attacked. The perpetrators were two thousand knights from the Teemyo Kingdom of the West.
The academy resisted fiercely. However, all the teachers were killed, except for the professor of earth magic, Anne Beckström.
The surviving students fled to the forests in the southern part of Usmasha Island. But those forests are infested with monsters and are far from a safe haven.
Nina, a student who fled into the forest, found Anne and handed her a certain forbidden book. It was an ancient witch's tome containing a summoning circle.
