While sometimes written in katakana, his official name is Peinto. Nicknames include Pen-chan, Pen-san, and Peinty. His name comes from the fact that he happened to be using a paint tool when deciding his handle. He loves shrimp; on Akapen Radio, he said he'd eat shrimp if the world were ending tomorrow. He grew up in a household where he wasn't allowed to play many games as a child. He is the editor and uploader for the group that started with the collaboration series "Minecrafter no Nichijou" with Kuronoa and Shinigami, later joined by Torazo. His editing skills and natural humor are so great that the other members call him a genius. He is also active individually, collaborating multiple times with Akagami no Tomo, Radda, and M.S.S Project (Wareware-da). While overshadowed by Kuronoa's cat-lover persona, he actually loves cats too and has one at his parents' house. However, due to allergies, he keeps a robot dog AIBO named Will at his own home. Because many videos are from his perspective and he often feels like the protagonist, he is frequently mistaken for the leader, but Kuronoa is the actual leader. He fits the "protagonist who isn't the leader" trope common in creative works. He has a loud voice when surprised and is often teased as a "chimpanzee" in videos. He's also called the "eardrum crusher." His noisiness is such that Shinigami once remarked, "It's too quiet without Peinto." That said, since Shinigami and Torazo also have loud voices when screaming, three out of the four members are different types of eardrum crushers. He has a bit of chuunibyou tendencies.

His name comes from being called a "shinigami" (grim reaper) by a friend because of his dark circles and long bangs. When unreadable kanji or English appears during a stream, he ignores it or fakes it with nonsense words. He reportedly got terrible grades on English tests. Near the end of the "A Company" playthrough, he tried to do a serious voice-over for the climax, but his misreadings were so bad the edit was covered in correction notes. Nicknames include Shini, Shinigami-kun, and Shini-chan. A streamer with a versatile voice. He uses this to voice characters of any gender in games. In his early days, he mostly used a (cool-acting) low voice, but now he is known for his high-pitched commentary. According to him, "If my voice is low, I sound bored and it's not fun, so I keep it high." Because of his unique voice, he is often mistaken for a woman. Collab partners sometimes call him "Nee-san" (big sister) or "Shini-chan." Apparently, his natural voice—which strains his throat less—is still relatively low. On his personal channel, he creates Minecraft parkour maps for listeners and has used RPG Maker since his early days. He has distributed several self-made games and recently joined the technical staff creating Minecraft data packs. He has even worked on data packs during live broadcasts. He has attended official events in drag twice, went to his coming-of-age ceremony in drag, and has visited drag salons. His "Thief 1" skin is also a maid outfit.

He actually started streaming around 2012, but went on hiatus after joining the Self-Defense Forces. He wasn't naturally physically strong and was eventually forced to discharge due to an injury. He mostly worked behind the scenes until January 29, 2017, when he officially became a member of Nichijou-gumi in "Minecrafter no Nichijou Z." He also works with fellow member Kuronoa as the "Kikori Kyoudai" (Lumberjack Brothers) or "T&K Bros." His character design features a plastic shopping bag with a face drawn on it over his head, a green shirt, camouflage pants, and boots. His old skin wore a short-sleeved black shirt. He has recreated this look in cosplay. He can take the bag off, but whenever his true face is shown, everyone inevitably asks, "Who are you?"

A YouTuber and member of the four-person group Nichijou-gumi. He previously went by the name "Kuroneko no Noah," but stated in a 2023 video that he doesn't use it anymore. "Minecrafter no Nichijou" was his first streaming activity. He is the leader and oldest member of Nichijou-gumi. Besides the "T&K Bros" duo with Torazo, he does solo work and enjoys horror and FPS games. He does a lot of live broadcasts. He is characterized by a calm personality and a soft voice. He often drops dry jokes quietly or slacks off during group tasks like land clearing. In the early days of Minecraft Nichijou, he tended to be quiet, which he now uses as a self-deprecating joke. He used to get quiet during dirty jokes or romance talk, but in recent videos, he has shown a lewd side or even made direct dirty jokes. He tends to change his hairstyle drastically all at once. His motif is a cat, but he apparently loves hot springs. He loves cats and took his name from his own cat, Noah. In Shinigami's projects and the self-made game "Torao," a persona called "Mastermind Noah" was created. Since then, he is often treated as the hidden boss pulling all the strings from the shadows. He plays along with this quite enthusiastically and had been making "hidden boss-like" comments even before it became a meme.
