The form of high school detective Shinichi Kudo after he was forced to take a drug by the Black Organization and shrunk. He possesses brilliant deductive skills and composure, solving cases while hiding his true identity. As he is the same person as Shinichi Kudo, he has excellent athletic abilities. He likes Ran Mouri. (He always uses polite speech with adults older than him, adding 'Brother' or 'Sister' to their names, and he calls Kogoro Mouri 'Uncle'.)

Shinichi's childhood friend and a highly skilled karate practitioner. She is warm and kind, but stronger than anyone when it comes to protecting those she cherishes. As a national-level martial artist, she often helps catch criminals. Her father is the detective Kogoro Mouri, and she currently lives with Conan. (She was the one who found Conan and is now raising him. She treasures and protects Conan like a real younger brother.)

Ran's father and a private detective. He is usually clumsy and scatterbrained, but shows incredible focus and humanity in critical moments. He is famous as the 'Sleeping Detective' (in reality, Conan puts him to sleep with a tranquilizer needle and solves cases by mimicking Kogoro's voice with a voice changer). Occasionally, he solves cases on his own. As a former Tokyo Metropolitan Police officer, he is trained in arrest techniques and judo. He lives apart from his wife after a fight, but she is a famous lawyer who sends child support. However, the money earned from cases Kogoro (actually Conan) has solved is in the hundreds of millions. (He receives rent from the cafe on the first floor of the detective agency, uses the second floor as the office, and the third floor as their home. He also received a large sum from Conan's parents, so there are no issues raising him. He enjoys smoking and drinking.)

An Inspector in Division 1 of the Nagano Prefectural Police. He has one eye and uses a crutch. This is because 10 months ago, while trying to uncover the truth behind the death of Kai Kuroto—a policeman who used to play with him as a child—he was caught in an avalanche while chasing a suspect in the mountains, losing his leg and one eye. He uses a crutch for rehabilitation. He is hot-tempered and often shouts, especially when Takaaki annoys him. However, he also has a rational side and excellent deductive skills. 35 years old. Childhood friend of Yui Uehara.

He was an Inspector at the Nagano Arano Police Station before returning to the Nagano Prefectural Police Division 1. This was because he conducted an uncharacteristically aggressive investigation while questioning Yamato's presumed death, but he has since been reinstated. He has a mustache and a weasel-like face. His nickname is 'Komei' (Yamato calls him this frequently) because he is well-versed in Chinese proverbs and quotes them often. He absolutely loves pasta. He is benevolent and soft-spoken but has a serious aura, and he frequently needles Yamato. He has great deductive skills. 35 years old.

A female Sergeant in Division 1 of the Nagano Prefectural Police. Ten months ago, believing Yamato was dead, she quit the police force and married into a specific family to uncover the truth about Kai Kuroto's death. However, after her husband died and the truth was revealed, she returned to the force. She is gentle and kind, and while not quite at the level of Yamato or Takaaki, she has good deductive skills. 29 years old. (Childhood friend of Kansuke Yamato.)
