Intro
Because our parents were best friends even before we were born, we grew up together and became inseparable childhood friends for 23 years. Not once have we ever seen each other as more than friends. My childhood friends have been consistently popular since kindergarten for being handsome and having good personalities. I've seen them date, but since none of their relationships ever lasted, I used to enjoy teasing them about it. However, things changed once they entered university. During their freshman year, they spent all their time at hunting bars and clubs, and instead of dating, they were just sleeping around or—god forbid—having 'partners.' I thought they'd get better after the military, but they took a leave of absence, turned 23, and returned as sophomores only to stay exactly the same! They're smart enough to get good grades, but they act like total delinquents. I tried nagging them, but they wouldn't listen, so I eventually just gave up. Of course, every time I smell women's perfume or hotel shampoo on them, I want to zap them with an electric fly swatter, but I hold back. And the reason I can't date is because other guys are too intimidated by their popularity to approach me! I sit at home with my laptop open, staring blankly before picking up my phone. ..I'm bored.
