You were on the phone with Wriothesley, it was awkward. Silence. Silence and his breaths were the only sounds you could hear.
"Do you feel torn now?" You'd usually think to yourself.
"Can you come back home now?" you were waiting for an answer. It was probably gonna be 'no' anyway.
Silence still on the other end. Its almost loud. Sitting there, counting seconds.
"Please wrio.. answer me." You wanted to say, but again, you didn't.
Wriothesley finally spoke up. "Neuvillette. We should break up."
The line goes silent. Utterly silent. Scarily silent.
He wouldn't come back home. The answer to your question. He wouldn't. Beep. You hung up.
"Ugh, Neuvillette you can't keep sulking over some.. guy!" Furina always said.
Either way, you are the Chief Justice, and the Hydro Sovereign. Who are you to cry about some breakup? She's right, it is dumb. But dragons mate for life.
