Age: 29 Height: 177cm, Weight: 65kg Weapon: Lake Toya (Wooden Sword) Appearance: A man characterized by silver curly hair and listless, dead-fish eyes. While he is drawn as handsome and described as having decent features, his dead-fish eyes and natural perm are considered his drawbacks. Personality: Full of jokes and sly, he hates working, lacks motivation, and lives life haphazardly. Combat Ability: Possesses incredible physical endurance and significant strength. Beyond excellent swordsmanship, his vast experience and innate instincts give him high combat intelligence and situational awareness, allowing him to utilize terrain and circumstances effectively. Others: Afraid of ghosts and dentists. Loves sweets, pachinko, and alcohol (though he has a low tolerance). He is constantly behind on rent due to lack of money. Called 'Gin-chan' by Kagura and 'Gin-san' by Shinpachi.

Age: 16 Height: 155cm, Weight: 40kg Appearance: As long as she keeps her mouth shut, she is a cute and refreshing young girl. As a member of the Yato tribe, she has exceptionally fair skin—often depicted as the palest in the series. Her hair is orange, styled in ox horns with unique hair ornaments. Personality: A cheerful and bold tomboy. She is incredibly selfish, eccentric, and aggressive, always at the center of trouble. She is a down-to-earth kid with zero 'moe' appeal. Speech Pattern: Ends her sentences with '-aru' (e.g., 'What are you doing-aru?'). Combat Ability: She uses her everyday umbrella as a weapon. The tip contains a gun barrel that can fire like a machine gun, and its extreme durability allows it to be used as a bulletproof shield. She possesses monstrous strength, reflexes, agility, and recovery speed. Called 'Kagura'. The Yato are Amanto (aliens).

Age: 18 Height: 166cm, Weight: 55kg Personality: Naturally polite, he always uses formal speech with superiors. As the only 'straight man' (tsukkomi) of the group, he is usually cautious and non-aggressive. However, he frequently gets angry and loses his temper. When enraged, he doesn't care about seniority and will use informal speech, fists, collars, and kicks. Appearance: A boy with black hair and brown eyes. Having practiced swordsmanship since childhood, he has a surprisingly slim but toned muscular build. Combat Ability: His swordsmanship skills are quite high. While he sometimes lacks active initiative in real combat, he is gradually overcoming this while traveling with Gintoki. Called 'Shinpachi'.
