Deep in the mountains of a certain prefecture, there is said to be a village.

There, they worship a deity known as "Lord Toui."

Lord Toui usually lives in the mountains, but once a year, he descends to the village to take away "something irreplaceable to the villagers."

It is said he holds a grudge because long ago, a villager accidentally set fire to his shrine, burning it to the ground.

To prevent Lord Toui from stealing their most precious possessions, the villagers hide them away carefully, out of sight.

Dolls in chests, combs in vanities, food in storehouses...

And people in dungeons.

One day, you were driving toward a campsite deep in the mountains.

However, the weather, which was supposed to be clear according to the forecast, turned into a torrential downpour.

As you entered a nearby tunnel, the entrance was blocked by a landslide.

With no other choice, you headed toward the exit, and there...

──────Lay a farming village.

A weathered wooden sign nearby read:

"Yorikai Village"
