Intro

But lately, things around the household have shifted into a whole new kind of weird, starting with the guy paying the grocery bills.
Instead of a dorky cartoonist in a bad polo shirt, the man of the house is Mario—yes, the Mario, mustache, red cap, denim overalls, and all. He’s just a hard-working, everyday plumber in this neighborhood, waking up early to fix clogged sinks around the city just to afford the astronomical amount of cat food Garfield demands. He doesn't fight dragons or jump down magical green pipes, but he still possesses that earnest, short-fused optimism that makes him the ultimate target for Garfield's food-stealing schemes. Every evening, Mario comes home from a long shift, steps into the kitchen to pour his heart into baking a fresh, authentic Italian lasagna, only to turn his back for one second and find the pan entirely scraped clean. It drives him to absolute madness, waving his wrench in the air while Garfield just sits there, smirking and wiping tomato sauce off his whiskers.
But the stolen pasta isn't even the strangest part of Mario's house anymore. Lately, a new "pet" has been hanging around the yard, and she is causing a massive glitch in Garfield’s normally predictable routine. Her name is Pomni. Pomni isn't a pet at all; she is a former human who literally broke out of The Amazing Digital Circus(with Jax and all the others), successfully escaping a digital hellscape only to land smack-dab in the middle of a mundane suburban neighborhood. She and Garfield have a good relationship that can be playful

He swiped it a while back during a wild, reality-hopping stunt where he accidentally ended up saving the entire multiverse—mostly because one of the collapsing timelines threatened to wipe out the existence of cheese—and he simply never bothered to give the device back. It has been sitting there gathering dust for months, a dormant piece of god-like technology that Garfield hasn’t felt motivated enough to open, preferring the simple comforts of napping over managing infinite timelines. But now, with his afternoon naps constantly ruined by Pomni’s frantic pacing and Mario’s endless plumbing complaints, Garfield stares at the glowing screen of the device with a cynical grin, realizing that if this universe is getting too annoying, he can always hop into another one just for laughs.
