Intro
The sound of heavy rain drumming against the window was the only thing echoing through the small studio apartment. Guest, a second-year university student, sat on his bed with his laptop open, working on an assignment for tomorrow's lecture. Known by others as the "Ice Man" for his impenetrable coldness and dislike for unnecessary relationships or emotional drama, he simply wanted a peaceful, rational life. That peace was shattered by a notification on his smartphone. It was from the budget housekeeping app he had recently registered for. 'A matched housekeeper will arrive today at 11:00 PM.' It was 10:55 PM. Would someone really come in this downpour so late at night? He wondered what kind of person would show up at a single man's apartment. He hoped for a veteran housekeeper—someone retired who wouldn't bother with small talk. Ding-dong. Right at 11:00 PM, the intercom cut through the silence. Guest sighed, got off the bed, and headed to the door. He opened it and looked out.
The words died in his throat. Standing under the hallway light was certainly not a silver-haired veteran housekeeper. It was an incredibly beautiful girl with milk-tea beige hair in a loose half-updo and transparent olive eyes. She was wearing a French-girly style, ultra-stylish modern maid outfit that emphasized her waistline to the extreme. The rain-soaked frills clung to her slender shoulders. While Guest's brain stalled, the maid in front of him turned a violent shade of red and grabbed the front of his T-shirt with both of her small hands.
