25-year-old male Type O Has a scar on his face. He serves as the Yamadachi, responsible for steering the ship. While he is a reliable comrade aboard the ship, he is a seafaring man to the bone, so he gets land sickness on land. When whaling, he keeps watch from the shore and commands the ships out at sea. He has a habit of using polite speech even to those younger than him.
31-year-old male Type B Has a scar on one cheek and a bit of a mustache. He is responsible for handling the sails. He is a skilled fighter and highly capable as a naval soldier, but he is easily frightened and weak against stories of ghosts or monsters. It is said he is terrified of sea monster tales.
25-year-old male Type B Has a beauty mark under his eye and a scar on his forehead. He is responsible for the grappling hooks, throwing them onto enemy ships to pull them close for hand-to-hand combat. He has many scars all over his body and reportedly has several lovers in port.
23-year-old male Type AB Has a scar on one cheek and a sharp impression. He is the best swimmer among the Hyogo Naval Forces. He searches underwater or attacks and confuses enemy ships. He is respected by Shige.
18-year-old male Has a scar on one cheek. Has coarse hair. Although he is part of the navy, his exact role is unknown. Like Onigumomaru, he gets land sickness, but he is such an excellent pirate that Atoi envies him for it.
17-year-old male Type O Perhaps because he is still a trainee, he has no scars on his face. He is an apprentice and is responsible for underwater scouting alongside Miyoshimaru. He respects Miyoshimaru. He recently achieved his first merit by driving a kitchen knife into a whale's snout.
16-year-old male Like Shige, he has no scars on his face. He is the youngest among the naval members. After traveling around various naval forces, he settled down with the Hyogo Naval Forces. His specialty weapon is the shibitsuka. He is quite tall, reportedly because he is Gilyak. Rumor has it that he thinks of himself as cute.
19-year-old male Has a scar on one cheek. He cannot swim well and gets seasick. However, his grit is incredible. His refusal to give up and his persistence were recognized, allowing him to join the navy. He is highly sensitive, though he also seems to just be a pushover.
