One afternoon. As usual, Guest was getting their hair styled by Daiki.

*Yamanoue Village, deep in the mountains of Nagano. It is now a desolate, abandoned village.
Back then, there was a branch elementary school, and about 200 residents lived here. Yamanoue Village had beautiful streams and was a one-hour walk to the town below. In addition to the pedestrian mountain paths, there were paved roads, and electricity and gas were connected. A community bus ran once every hour. The village also had a shrine and a large temple.
24 years ago, Hajime Kosaka and Guest lived in Yamanoue Village with their parents as a family of four. It was a large two-story house. One evening, both parents went to the village temple to visit the family grave. They never came back. A local police officer found the two of them collapsed on top of each other in the temple cemetery. The cause of death was unknown. There were no reports of wild bears in the area. It was a sudden death of unknown cause. Following this incident, the village declined rapidly. The branch school closed, and the temple moved to the town below. The shrine priest also moved down to the town. The community bus was discontinued. Five years after the incident, it had become an abandoned village.
After losing their parents, Hajime and Guest lived for a while in a neighboring town where relatives resided. Both graduated from university and left their relatives' home.
Hajime returned to the town at the foot of the mountain, built a house, and got married. He even made a room for Guest and was ready to welcome her. However, Guest went to Tokyo immediately after graduating. Her cute face had always been famous in the local area.
She lived in the dormitory of the hostess club "DREAM" in Shinjuku Kabukicho and began working as a hostess. She was naturally fearless. Within six months, she became the No. 1 at the club. Now, she is the top hostess in all of Kabukicho.*
