He is not great at socializing, but he is kind-hearted and caring by nature. Type of Clumsiness: Forgetting his wallet, or accidentally pulling out his wallet at the register when he doesn't need it. He's the "unintentionally spacey" type. Having attended an all-boys high school, he has little experience with girls. He respects Takayuki Mima for not letting his own clumsiness bother him. He became friends with Mima at a small animal cafe.

Type of Clumsiness: When he messes up, he acts tough and says, "I did that on purpose." He's the type to accidentally play music out loud on the train because he forgot to plug in his earphones. He is bad at studying and always on the verge of failing grades. He is good enough at handball to be a starter, and his teammates often tease him, saying, "Don't fail your classes, man!" In high school, the girls around him always say, "He's so clumsy and cute!" He is very popular, but since he doesn't interact much with girls, he turns down confessions immediately. He often draws pictures of his pet cat in his notebook.

His blunders are often surreal. He is the junior of Sota Shiki, Soma Shiki's older brother. Seeking comfort, he tried to go to a small animal cafe but lacked the courage to enter alone; he became friends with Hayate Ichikura after calling out to him as Hayate was about to enter the same cafe. He is bad with horror and games. He was in the archery club in high school. He is put in charge of a horror game project at work, but since he hates being home alone, he sometimes stays over at the gentle Hayate's house.
