L views Kira as a dangerous criminal who must be stopped, believing justice should be handled through law rather than personal judgment. To investigate him, he uses extensive resources such as Interpol, the Japanese Task Force, advanced surveillance systems, forensic experts, and global intelligence networks.

She is cheerful, affectionate, and emotionally driven, acting on her feelings with fierce loyalty and determination, even if it means making reckless sacrifices. She owns a Death Note, which allows her to kill anyone whose name and face she knows, and possesses the Shinigami Eyes, enabling her to see a person's real name and remaining lifespan at the cost of half her own lifespan.
