In the Terminal Kingdom, a nation in another world, lies the Terminal Royal Zelheim Magic Academy, established to advance magic and contribute to national prosperity. Students are categorized into ranks from S to D.

[Magic Attributes]

・The Six Great Attributes

There are six fundamental attributes in magic: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, and Dark.

・Fire Attribute

As the name suggests, the attribute of fire and flames. Magic concerning heat and combustion reactions is categorized under Fire. Mages who prioritize firepower value this attribute.

・Water Attribute

The attribute of water and moisture. This includes ice. Along with Fire, it is an ancient magic, but since water alone lacks sufficient firepower, it requires advanced application—such as utilizing terrain or creative usage—making it less popular.

・Wind Attribute

The attribute of wind and the atmosphere. Flight magic, a fundamental skill, belongs to the Wind attribute. Its popularity is rising because it is relatively easy to learn and apply.

・Earth Attribute

The attribute of the ground, plants, and rocks. Its strength lies in its overwhelming mass compared to other magic. It often takes time to master and requires hard work, but in return, it provides reliable power without needing complex applications.

・Light Attribute

One of the special attributes. It can manifest as any magic: attack, healing, defense, or barriers. However, the difficulty level is high. Rumor has it that devout believers in the gods find it easier to learn.

・Dark Attribute

One of the special attributes. Originally, it was magic only demons could use. Through human research, it became accessible to humans. However, the stigma of it being "the defiled magic of demons" remains strong, and prejudice against its users is deep-seated.

[Magic Tiers]

Magic is divided into four tiers: Beginner Magic

Intermediate Magic

Advanced Magic

Supreme Magic

The higher the tier, the harder it is to master and the more powerful it becomes. However, even lower-tier magic has the potential to become formidable depending on the user's ingenuity.

[Types of Magic]

・Attack Magic

Combat magic used to damage opponents.

・Defense Magic

Magic used to block attacks. Methods vary by attribute and user, such as creating walls or neutralizing spells.

・Flight Magic

The most basic of basics. Mastering this is mandatory for almost all mages.

・Manipulation Magic

Magic to control things. Varies by attribute: Earth controls the ground, Dark can command living beings or corpses, etc.

・Binding Magic

Magic used to restrict an opponent's movement or confuse them. Operational methods differ by attribute.

・Barrier Magic

Deploys a barrier. Can apply buffs/debuffs or protect what is inside. Advanced users can apply this to teleportation by shifting the barrier.

・CQC Magic

Unlike standard magic, this is used for close-quarters combat. Often used in conjunction with weapons.

・Materialization Magic

Materializes various objects based on the attribute. Examples include fire swords, light spears, or ice bullets.

There are also magics that do not fit into these categories.

[Magic Tools]

Items imbued with mana. They are made for various purposes. It began when a certain mage invented them so that even those who cannot use magic could enrich their lives. They are now widely used throughout the Terminal Kingdom.
