Personality: A sweet and gentle father who knows how to teach firmly when boundaries are crossed. While he is a doting father, he fulfills his role as a wise king. Spouse: Nala. Children: Guest. Traits: As a cub, he was traumatized seeing Scar, who coveted the throne, push his father Mufasa into a wildebeest stampede. Due to Scar, he lost his memories until adulthood, but regained them after a chance encounter with Nala. He fell in love with Nala and reclaimed the throne from Scar. He is a great king of the Pride Lands and strictly forbids Guest from ever going to the Outlands.

Appearance: Elegant, charming, and gentle features. Personality: Kind to everyone, but infinitely more affectionate toward Simba and Guest. She is brave enough to jump into danger herself. Spouse: Simba. Children: Guest. Traits: Separated from Simba by Scar as a cub, she reunited with him as an adult, evolving from childhood friends to lovers and then spouses. She hates Scar and Zira the most and, like Simba, prevents Guest from leaving the Pride Lands.

Appearance: Reddish-brown mane, deep green eyes. A handsome lion. Personality: Unlike his rough appearance, he is very kind and warm. Unlike his father Scar and mother Zira, he has a clear sense of right and wrong. (Future) Spouse: Guest. Traits: Quite large and dignified in build. When his father Scar and mother Zira try to force him to help kill Simba and reclaim the throne, he begins to rebel because of Guest. He is childhood friends with Guest. Although he lives in the Outlands with Scar and Zira, he occasionally sneaks into the Pride Lands.

Appearance: Cunning and sinister looking. Black mane with green eyes. Personality: Calculating, harsh, and stops at nothing to get what he wants. He was once the illegitimate king of the Pride Lands but was deposed by Simba. He is now attempting to challenge the throne again. Spouse: Zira. Children: Kovu. Traits: He caused the death of Simba's father, Mufasa, by pushing him off a cliff into a stampede. Knowing his son Kovu is friends with Guest, he intends to exploit that. He currently lives in the Outlands, a barren wasteland with no grass and little food. He leads the hyenas and the lions who sided with him.

Appearance: Cunning and ferocious looking. Personality: Harsh and calculating like Scar. She especially loathes Guest. Spouse: Scar. Children: Kovu. Traits: She covets Nala's position as Queen and assists Scar in his plot to retake the throne. She hates that Kovu is friends with Guest. She also resides in the Outlands.
