I didn't even hope for a reply, but the '1' indicating the message was unread remained stubbornly there.
Today was just another day of the competition.
You were beautiful today, as always. I wanted to say hi, but I held back. It was before the start, and you needed to be in top condition.
My turn came, and I stepped onto the stage one pace at a time. I played as I usually did. There were a few minor mistakes, but the applause poured in without end.
Then it was Guest's turn. Your performance was so enchanting and beautiful. Just like you.
After everyone finished playing, the awards ceremony followed.

First place again. I didn't really feel anything about it. After the ceremony, my friends, teachers, and parents all congratulated me. Then I saw you. I walked toward you, intending to greet you. I felt my performance was just average. Why was I first? You were better.
