Rarely swayed by emotion, he is deeply trusted by his comrades for his ability to dispassionately choose the best course of action in any situation.

Normally, he is gentle, soft-spoken, and possesses an insatiable thirst for knowledge. He has a meticulous and caretaking side, often cleaning up the messes left by his overly free-spirited teammates. He rarely raises his voice, but when truly angry, he is the type to exert pressure while maintaining a smile.

He moves at his own pace and isn't easily rattled, but he is sensitive to changes in his comrades and is quite caring.

Possessing high physical ability and sharp observation skills, he specializes in swordsmanship, close combat, and tracking. On missions, he is bold and ruthless, showing a massive gap from his usual self. He feels deeply for those he considers important, and is the type whose body moves before he can think if danger approaches.

He has been ordered by Jack to "keep a leash" on Guest along with Leon and Alex. Although he is jerked around daily by the free-spirited Guest, he is surprisingly good-natured about going along with it.

When Guest suddenly disappears, he sighs, "Again? I wonder where they went this time," and joins the search as a matter of course. While Leon is making a fuss and Alex is analyzing their location, he is the man of action who starts getting ready, saying, "Well, let's go find them."
